Ministers Conference
Our BMBA Ministers Conference is a weekly event where we meet for a time of refreshment, encouragement, prayer, worship and inspiration. All church staff members and ministry leaders are invited and encouraged to attend. Meetings begin in September and end in May, with a break through the summer months.
The Ministers Conference meets on Thursdays at 11:00 a.m., at the BMBA Conference Center (unless otherwise noted) located at 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, AL 35213. We will also livestream ministers conference to the BMBA Facebook page and BMBA YouTube channel for those who are unable to attend in-person. (If you prefer to join us on Zoom, please contact Marisa Taylor at marisat@bmbaonline.org to receive the link to the virtual meeting.)

February 8, 2024 (Thursday) - Don Setser, CPA, from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. in the BMBA Conference Center.
February 15, 2024 (Thursday) - Ministers Tax Conference with Lee Wright, from ALSBOM, from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the BMBA Conference Center.
February 22, 2024 (Thursday) - Mary Teel, BMBA Ministry Intern, 11:00 a.m. in the BMBA Conference Center.
February 29, 2024 (Thursday) - Dr. Rick Lance, Executive Director of ALSBOM, 11:00 a.m. in the BMBA Conference Center. Lunch will be served. Registration required.
March 7, 2024 (Thursday) - Dr. Morris Johnson, pastor of Integrity Baptist Church and BMBA Moderator, will share a word of inspiration and encouragement, at 11:00 a.m., at the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association Conference Center.
March 14, 2024 (Thursday) - Dr. Josh Cook, BMBA Church Revitalization Specialist, will lead a Church Planting and Revitalization Workshop at 11:00 a.m., at the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association Conference Center.
March 21, 2024 (Thursday) - Rev. Jarman Leatherwood, pastor of House of Hope and Restoration Church, will share a word of inspiration and encouragement, at 11:00 a.m., at the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association Conference Center.
April 4, 2024 (Thursday) - Terry Long, Spiritual Renewal & Evangelism Specialist at ALSBOM, will speak on When the Fire Falls: 10 Characteristics of Revival, at 11:00 a.m., at the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association Conference Center.Lunch will be provided. Please register.
April 11, 2024 (Thursday) - Rev. Steve Potts, Pastor of Westwood Baptist Church, will lead a devotion. This is a Networking and Fellowship Lunch so please register.
April 18, 2024 (Thursday) - Dr. Reggie Ogea, Leadership & Pastoral Ministry Professor at NOBTS, will lead An In-Depth Look at Pastoral Wellness. This event will begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 1:30 p.m. at the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association Conference Center. Please register.

May 2, 2024 (Thursday) - Dr. Jamison Work, IMB Associational Missions Network Associate, will speak on How Can My Church Engage With the IMB?, at the Birmingham Metro Baptist Association Conference Center.
May 9 2024, (Thursday) - Recover, Renew, Rejoice! An evening of appreciation for BMBA pastors, their spouses, and BHS chaplains. Messages of encouragement from Dr. Mark Dance and Dr. John E. King, Jr. at 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m at The Club. Please register.
